A time for thanks – Developer shares CNY joy with staff, business partners, the underprivileged

The Story.

Developer Matrix Concepts kicked off Chinese New Year festivities with celebratory dinners for staff and business associates in honour of their dedication and support to the company’s success.

Held over two nights, the back-to-back events at d’Tempat Country Club in Bandar Sri Sendayan, near Seremban in Negri Sembilan, celebrated the company’s achievements over almost three decades and includes the latest feather in its cap – the recent groundbreaking of MVV City, a planned smart city in collaboration with the state government.

With current market capitalisation of RM3bil, the developer has grown since the launch of its maiden project in Bahau in 1996, a testament to the strong partnerships and teamwork forged and fostered over the years.

During his address to employees, Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd founder and group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock expressed his gratitude to the heart and soul of the organisation – the people who put in the hard work, dedication and passion that drives the company forward.

“Twenty-nine years ago, we embarked on a journey to redefine the landscape of property development. And what a journey it has been.

“I’m filled with pride with the achievements we have accomplished together,” he said.

Lee said 2024 marked a remarkable chapter in the company’s history, with sales numbers in its Sendayan developments continuing to impress and the fast-tracking of its Levia Residence project in Kuala Lumpur that was completed ahead of schedule.

He said the company was also preparing to launch Phase 2 of Bandar Sri Impian, a 125ha development in Johor featuring 3,054 residential units, this year.

He also said the successful purchase of 559ha of prime land in MVV City and a second 404.7ha parcel adjacent to it would set the stage for future growth and ensure the company had a steady stream of opportunities to develop for the next decade.
